WordPress ratings plugin: Mombly Review Rating

A lot of the plugins out there are intended for visitors to your website to rate your posts, but what I needed was a method of rating a book I’ve read myself, within the post itself. I’ve only tried one so far, and can happily say I don’t feel the need to try any more as I’m happy with this one.
Mombly Review Rating is dead easy to use: I even installed it from within WordPress rather than through FTP, which worked fine.
Set-up was a doddle, and the only changes I made were by editing the default images – a quick change of the hue/saturation in Photoshop and a slight decrease in image size and I was happy. There’s three images to edit: full-star, half-star and empty-star. Adding a rating to a post is easy; simply add the following code within the normal content:
[Rating:3.5/5]
… and here’s what it looks like:
[Rating:3.5/5]
